Turn off your water at the stopcock

Usually under the kitchen sink or in the airing cupboard. Turn clockwise to isolate the supply.

Turn off your boiler

If a leak is near your boiler or heating system, switch it off at the isolator. Don't dismantle anything.

Drain remaining water from taps

Open cold taps in the kitchen and bathroom to relieve pressure and slow any active leak.
