The right shower depends on your water pressure and existing pipework — here’s how we advise Waltham Forest homeowners.
Older Victorian and Edwardian terraces in Walthamstow and Leyton often run on modest mains pressure. Electric showers heat water on demand and perform consistently regardless of boiler or cylinder pressure.
Newer conversions and refurbished flats around Leytonstone with unvented cylinders have strong mains pressure throughout, making them ideal for mixer or digital showers with a proper drench-style head.
Where a property still has a loft-fed vented cylinder, as is common across Chingford and Highams Park houses, a power shower with a built-in pump gives a stronger flow than gravity alone provides.
Digital showers with app or remote control are increasingly popular in Waltham Forest's renovated period homes, letting you preset temperature and flow before stepping in.
A full supply-and-fit service, carried out at a fixed price before any work begins.
We check your water pressure, pipework and electrics to recommend the right shower type for your property.
You receive a fixed price covering the shower, fittings, tiling and waterproofing before any work starts.
Pipework, wiring and the shower unit are fitted, with tiling made good and sealed around the enclosure.
We test flow, temperature and drainage before we leave, with the work covered by our 12-month guarantee.
Cost depends on shower type and whether pipework or wiring changes are needed. All prices are confirmed before we attend — no call-out charge.

Our Walthamstow terrace had terrible water pressure for showering. Fitted an electric shower and the difference is night and day, strong and consistent every time.
Renovated flat in Leytonstone with an unvented cylinder, so wanted a proper mixer shower with a big drench head. Fitted cleanly, tiled around it beautifully, looks fantastic.
Converted our loft in Chingford into an en-suite and needed a power shower given our vented system. Great flow now, and the whole enclosure was fitted and sealed perfectly.
Yes. For leaks, poor flow or a shower that won't heat properly, we offer same-day diagnosis and repair across all Waltham Forest postcodes, with no additional out-of-hours charge on top of the fixed price.
Fixed price agreed before we start. Quick installation. Protect your appliances and pipework for good.
We also cover these neighbouring boroughs — same fixed prices, same engineers.
